Meet Dr. Mistry

Dr. Kevin Mistry is a first-generation American from Houston. He earned his BA from Rice University, where he was a National Merit Scholar. After completing his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2000. Dr. Mistry served as a dental officer in the United States Navy. He completed a residency in Pensacola, Florida, then served in Japan, two deployments aboard the USS Kitty Hawk, and with the Marines in San Diego. After completing his Naval service, Dr. Mistry entered private practice in Houston in 2004, and moved to the Arlington area in 2008.

Since taking over Lighthouse Dental in 2012, Dr. Mistry has enjoyed taking care of patients from all walks of life and every corner of the globe.  He strives to make each patient feel welcome and get to know each of them and their dental needs.  Lighthouse Dental is one the highest rated offices in Arlington, and Dr. Mistry is grateful for the hundreds of 5 star reviews he and his team has received.  He particularly enjoys doing Invisalign and cosmetic dentistry, restoring dental implants and has completed over 600 hours of continuing education to make sure he is current on the best dental practices.

Dr. Mistry is a member of the American and Virginia Dental Associations, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Seattle Study Group.  He is passionate about helping veterans improve their oral health, and has done pro bono smile restorations for service members, as well as spending weekends helping the Army National Guard achieve high levels of dental readiness.  In his spare time, he enjoys cheering for the Nats and Caps, swimming, cooking and taking in the cultural opportunities DC offers.
